Apr 26, 2016 Honestly, even though mac gaming/design is a thing, according to steam hardware surveys, it's not really. 4% mac users on steam vs 95% windows users, So you should develop on windows, if you want to test similar to the people that would most likely be buying your game. If you want an added giggle, guess how many people use linux on steam. If your computer lags when playing games, one of the main factors is the graphics card issue. For gaming experience, the graphics card is the most crucial part because both 3D graphics rendering and calculating in-game physics are done on the graphics card.

Jan 17, 2020 After downloading 8.3, the game crashes completely or will lag for about 5-10 seconds with the rainbow mouse icon circling. The freeze spikes usually last for about five seconds in 8.2, and maybe occur 2-3 times a day. Now it appears every 5-10 seconds and make the game 100% unplayable. Im not much of a tech guy. Posting the info of the Mac Im using and I beg there is someone that can help me.
I did install a genuine windows 10, downloaded on microsoft website, installed : everything seems to be working fine except i can't play anything on it.
I'm really boggled since it was ok before my clean install, and i did not change anything : crossfire is on, latest bootcamp drivers, (i tried yesterday to do a custom made drivers, still lagging.)

This is a quick tutorial to show you how to make OBS (Open Broadcasting Software) not lag or freeze. We cover the settings for both 1080p and 720p computers so if you don't know, use this screen resolution tool to check that out before you get started.
Part 2: How to fix freezing and lagging in OBS
Fixing OBS video freezes is pretty simple. All you have to do is follow these instructions and you're good to go.
- Go into Settings
- Select 'Encoding' from the sidebar menu
- In the Maxbitrate field update the figure to 500,000 for 1080p computers. For slower PC's with 720p adjust the settings to 800,000. If you still experience lagging increase the maxbitrate
- Next select video from the sidebar menu and click on the 'custom' field
- If you have a 1080p computer adjust the settings to 1920 x 1080. For 720p adjust settings to 1280x720
- Then update the FPS field to 60. If you still have lag, lower the FBS to 30
- Then select advanced settings from the sidebar menu. A message will pop up asking if you want to change settings. Select yes
- Set the Process Priority Class to 'High'
- Further down the screen in the video section update the x264 CPU Preset field to Ultrafast and the Encoding Profile field to 'Main'
- Then go down a little and select the custom x264 Encoder settings and type 'CRF=20' into the field provided
- Click okay. You're ready to capture screenshots
